Chris Brown & Rihanna Sighting in the RIC!

So yesterday afternoon after Buttercup got up from his nap we decided to do some running around. We needed to return a few things from Christmas. We NEVER I repeat NEVER go into the Target in Short Pump.

#1 because Short Pump is always crazy busy and I try an avoid it at all cost.

#2 because it's ALWAYS picked over and you can never find good clearance stuff.

Since we were near the Short Pump Target Honeysuckle ran in and returned an item. The kids and sat in the car. Yes, I seriously protest this Target location.

Rosebud wanted McDonald's which is right there in the shopping center. As Honeysuckle pulled up in the drive-thru lane he said look out the back of the van it's Chris Brown & Rihanna. I said "Shut Up NOOOO WAY!!!!" Sure enough it was them pulling up in his purplie/blue Lamborghini. We've heard on the radio several times that they are always spotted in Short Pump. He has a house in Tappahannock, Virginia.

Here are the cruddy pictures I got from my new cell phone. I had to lighten them a bunch. I'm sorry I didn't get out and ask for autographs. Silly me, I had my PnS camera in the diaper bag. When I took the picture of him letting her into the car he looked up at me and I said "Hey, it's not everyday that you get to take a picture of a super stars!" She is super tall and super thin, in my opinion taller and thinner than in person. She had heals on, tight clothing and a military looking hat with big hoop earrings. He looked like a regular guy with a t-shirt, hat and hoodie. He'd blend into a crowd well. Parking a Lamborghini at McDonalds made him not blend so well. ;-)

I love their music so this was super exciting for me!

Out the back of the van as I was frantically climbing over the kids in their car seats. He was opening the door for her. Yes, I know my van is filthy. On the outside...not inside thank you very much!

This was taken as we pulled up to the drive-thru window. There he is in the hoodie and hat with the white t-shirt. There she is, cantcha see the earrings. "Live Your Life" with TI just so happened to be playing on the radio as we pulled up. So, I cranked it up and yelled "Rihanna!" like a crazy, excited fan would. The girl to the right got out her camera and got an autograph. Ahhh...shoulda, coulda, woulda but I didn't.

So, after all the excitement, we drove away and Rosebud started to eat her french fries. She started coughing and got into one of her asthmatic coughing fit. She preceded to starts vomiting in the van. We pulled over int he Pier One parking lot to clean up the mess. Honeysuckle and I came off our little celebrity sighting high quite quickly.
